I was referred to Mr Kalkur for after requesting a second opinion. I was very impressed by his knowledge and expertise and felt in safe hands from the outset. He discussed possible treatment plans with the various pros and cons and supported me in the decision I chose. He offered alternative treatments not previously offered which proved very effective. He was professional yet personal and kept in contact during my treatment to discuss the ongoing progress. Even when I underwent a hysterectomy in the middle of lockdown during a global pandemic I always felt I was in safe hands. Following surgery he kept in contact the monitor my progress and to offer advice and answer questions I had. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Kalkur to anyone and have in fact already recommended him to friends.

Dr Kalkur was highly recommended to be by a colleague who has also been under his care. So I made the decision to also see him privately for his expertise and guidance. On the initial consultation, he was thorough, he listened, he took in depth notes and most importantly he was kind and genuinely wanted to help. He offered treatment options that were most suitable for my situation and communicated promptly and accurately with my GP. I was completely happy with the recommended plan of tests we’d discussed I needed. He offered such a personal service by offering his email and contact number so he could be contacted at any time should any issues arise. This made me feel so comfortable knowing I was in good hands with someone who genuinely wants to offer everything he can to help his patients. I first saw mr Kalkur I’m February last year after seeing a prior consultant who I didn’t like. Mr Kalkur was so friendly and easy to talk to, made myself and my husband feel so at ease and not at all embarrassed about anything. He listened to all my issues and worries and recommended the best treatment for me and talked through all side effects and potential problems. After suffering with very heavy periods for years and having a big cyst on my cervix we opted for a laparoscopic hysterectomy only leaving my ovaries. It’s been a long hard road the last 11mths but even now I keep in touch with mr Kalkur to update him. The care I recieved from him and his team were second to none. Would recommend mr Kalkur to every lady that needs a gynea. Such an amazing man, thankyou x

Me Kalkur was amazing from start to finish. From the first consultation I had with him I felt at ease and at last someone was listening and able to help me. He was very responsive to my needs and offered help and advice outside of appointments. I had surgery conducted by Mr Kalkur and was obviously very nervous, he put myself and my husband at ease and was brilliant. He is by far the best medical professional I have ever come into contact with and I would not hesitate in seeing him again. Highly, highly recommend.
